Description: 
Location: La Défense. An interior view of the Grande Arche, visible are offices, steps and escalators. Spreckelsen designed the structure as a 20th Century version of the Arc de triomphe and it was built by French civil engineering company Bouygues. After Spreckelsens death in 1987 Andreu, as his associate, took over and completed the work.
