View of one of the 14 plaques and surrounding paving. Location: Safeways Supermarket, Meadowhead, Sheffield S8 Description: 14 plaques set in the sides of the paved pedestrian walkway leading out into the carpark of the supermarket from the main entrance. Each plaque shows, in relief, a slightly stylised cross-section of a vegetable or fruit. The plaques are all 20 cm square. Commission: Safeways plc Comment: Not immediately obvious, although a shopper with head bowed down by the weight of shopping bags or trolley may be ideally positioned to notice them.
