Location: Outside St Georges Hall. Side view of the statue. The inscription reads: ALBERT / PRINCE CONSORT / BORN 1819 DIED 1861. Behind this are The Cenotaph, then an equestrian statue of Queen Victoria (also by Thomas THORNEYCROFT) and the Wellington Column by A.G. WALKER. The building left is St George's Hall, that in the background The Walker Art Gallery and the street light in the foreground is by COCKERELL.
