Detail. Located at Heeley City Farm . Description: A winged pig at the top of a 4m high stainless steel column. The pig has a resin body and stainless steel aeroplane wings with propellors. A plaque attached to the pole reads: "Pigasus / by Johnny White and Amanda Wray / Based on ideas from aphid arts / workshops at local schools and / on the farm. 1998. Supported by / the National Lottery / through / the Arts Council / of England" Commission: Arts for Everyone Express funding. Comment: 'The process for developing the ideas behind this piece was a series of workshops with all the local schools and also with groups at the farm.
