Description: A large, free standing, painted metal screen/ sign saying ' Mount Pleasant Park'. The sign is 184cms high and 5 metres wide, it is painted purple and yellow and combines abstact metal tracery with figurative elements. Onsite Plaque: This is Mount Pleasant. / Young people from Abbeydale Primary, Sharrow Junior and / Abbeydale Grange Schools have designed and made this metal / Screen working with Gillian Brent. / Part of Sheffield's Children's Festival 2000 / The Millennium Commission as part of the UK Millennium Festival / Allerton and Hall Commission: Sheffield Children's Festival 2000
